New Chicks!!!!

We went and picked up 4 of our new chicks at 7 P.M.   They were all born March 26.

Finally!

I finally have permission for more chicks =] =]=]

Next week we will be getting

2 Americanas
2 Barred Rock
2 Light Brahma
2 Welsummer
2 Speckled Sussex

I AM SOOOO HAPPY =]=]

Will post pictures as soon as we get them!

Now for a more sad topic... It seems we will be getting rid of Fred... Our first rooster =/ He has been rather aggressive lately and well that just isn't OK.... So we will be getting a few new roosters soon....

Spring!

I LOVE SPRING... The chicks are chirping, the chickens are laying, the bugs start to chirp again. I hope it doesn't cool off, because I am loving this warm weather... Highs in the 60's for the next week :)

New Chicken Coop Is DONE!

Here at High Point Farm it was close to 70 degrees today so we decided to take the chicks out on an adventure....... Hehehehe

Woke up to a beautiful/nasty/cant decide if I am going to do anything type of day this morning...... 4 inches of snow with 1/2 inch of ice.....
