Well, Went to my first poultry show today =] Matilda got best of breed and variety, Fred got second of both =]

We also came home with a little silkie!

We are keeping her (him?) with the birchen cochin rooster for some company!

Bath Time!

Well, seeing as Fred and Matilda have a showing on Saturday, it was necessary to give them baths :)

On another note, Moriah is obssesed with chickens... Maybe even more so than I am... Watch Out.... She is constantly saying.... "Chick Chick, Ouside, Ouside. PLEAASEEE????" How can you say no to that????

This is our welsummer rooster. He is the same bird that is on the cover of corn flakes!

 I fixed the door on the coop

Added a ramp up to the door

 and installled water and feeders up in the coop!
