Chicken Hysteria?

Our chickens are absolutely terrified of snow. At the slightest possibility of snow they travel back to the general area of the coop.... and when it starts snowing so hard you cant see a tree until you walk into it, the chickens go into a state of emergency! The run to the coop mach 10 with their hair on fire, tripping over each other until they get to the coop, they then make a bee line for their roosts, where they then stay until all the snow on the ground is gone, coming out only for a few minuets at a time to get a bite to eat and something to drink and even then only when their is not a cloud in the sky! Needless to say it can be very comical for the family looking out the window. :) Supposedly going to get up to 6 inches this morning, we will see.....
